Meet Lorenzo Bello | |||||||||

Born in New York, and raised in Philadelphia, Lorenzo Bello received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Florida International University, Miami, and his Juris Doctorate from Antioch School of Law, Washington, D.C.. In 1979, after graduating law school he opened an investigative agency serving 85 law firms in Washington, D.C.. His experience gathering facts and analyzing information provides today's clients with the necessary due diligence needed in making their informed decisions. In 1994, with his wife Lia, a nurse practitioner, and family he moved to Taos, New Mexico, bringing a healthy new shift in lifestyle. Shortly thereafter, Lorenzo became the executive director and board member of the Mirus Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit policy institute involved with community economic development and health-care issues affecting New Mexico. He is also the Managing Director of the Taos Convention and Visitors Bureau. In 2003, he became a New Mexico licensed real estate broker and opened EcoRealty. EcoRealty allows Lorenzo to combine creatively his many years in the conservation non-profit world, and to identify novel opportunities in the real estate world. His specialized knowledge of conservation easements as a powerful land management tool and their implications as a source of tax benefits provide a basis of exchanging information with buyers and sellers. This information can result in preserving open areas as well as leveraging a party's financial resources. | ||||||||
